sunflowers ...

yesterday i drove past fields of sunflowers ... i noticed that atleast they were enjoying our dry, hot spell ...following the sun, following the sun ...

this morning i felt cranky from the heat, impatient with leo, nervous about my dental thing on monday and now i'm rushing to head off to work in a few minutes ...

then i read
Debra's post on following the SON ... isn't it just like God to use other believers to remind us where our hearts and minds should rest ... when i forget for a moment or even day - to leave my worries & cares with Him ... i just need to keep my eyes on the SON ...

God always does find a way to remind us of stuff.

Debra's a good source of it. Though it ticks me off sometimes. :P hehehe. Just kidding. :D

I would love seeing a field of sunflowers. It never ceases to amaze me how God choses to get His message through. He tends to work much harder than I listen.

What a gorgeous picture! Uplifting to just see the miracle of a sunflower and what grand ones these are. I think they must be reminders to us that God has every hair of our heads numbered. Praying for extra grace & provision for Monday...*hugs*

that's so funny, (in an I can't believe how much we're on the same wavelength kind of way) I've been wanting to get my kids out to the sunflowers and take a picture.... I love how they follow the sun. I was thinking about that very thought today as we drove home from camping and passed several fields of sunflowers.

maggie ann ... wish i could say i took it, but i snagged it off the 'net ... :o) ... the ones i drove by were just as lovely and you could tell exactly where the sun was at, since those big yellow heads were facing in just that direction! ... thank you for your prayer re my dreaded monday! i think i'm getting a cold too ... sniffle sniffle ... *hugs backatcha*

mrsd ... we really are blessed in the area we live! *smile* ... there are so many sunflower fields around the city - a picture postcard at every turn ... blessings on ya!
