good morning

here i am ... up early ... and waiting for the sunrise ...

i love sunrises ... there is promise and hope in them, heralding a new beginning ...

the picture i posted was taken by an unknown camper at the park where i work ... this was his view one morning ... i captioned it with a quote from Guideposts magazine ...

but i must return to my window seat now ... i don't want to miss God's "good morning" to His waking world ...

mrsd ... it almost makes me want to go camping - almost!

Sandy ... yes! so i'm humming this tune - "morning by morning, new mercies i see ... all i have needed Thy hand has provided, great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me ... "

What a beautiful photo! Thanks for letting me see the first sunrise I've seen in a very long time! I get up early....but usually 10 minutes passed sunrise. Maybe I should set the alarm a little earlier!

Diane ... *smile* ... well if you put a sunrise as your computer screen saver, you will never miss out ... and i'm not up for them all the time either, maybe that is why they seem special?

This generated a wonderful memory for me. When we lived in Wisconsin the neat old farm house lived in had a cool window seat in the kitchen where I could sit and watch the sun rise over the hills....mmmmmmmm. Those mornings were so peacefull and filled with the presence of God.
