December 1st ...

i know it's not officially "winter" yet ... but with the outdoor reading at
-20C, it doesn't have to be "official" here in our little town - it's here!!

thought i'd just update you on leo's doctor situation ... in case you were wondering ... he has an appt. in january with yet another newbie physician ... this will be his 3rd NEW doctor in 2 years ... tho' i must give thanks on this point - each one has added something positive to leo's overall care ... we keep praying ... and the answers always seem to come in the oddest ways and means ... must be "God thing" ... His ways just aren't our ways!

blessings on you!

I was just remarking to my husband a few nights ago that God's ways and mine are not the same. So often I would do things differently, but his way is the best! I'll be waiting to here how things go with this Dr.

It is winter there alright, I would say! I'm just praying that the new doctor will be used by God for Leo's healing. God has worked out so many things for you two.

I too hope Leo's new Dr. will work out for the very best and will pray that God's hand will be upon him to help. About the little girl clip art...I bought a clip art cd set a couple of years ago and have had so much pleasure using the pics. Help yourself to a copy of her. She IS cute, isn't she. ~~I got so much done last week, I went like a machine and now =( this week I'm so tired. A good excuse to be online though. Its been such a very cold windy day here...hardly a bit of sunshine to boot. Oh well...we are cozy. *hugs* =) oh yes, I surely do like your bit of artwork on your post...very much!

-20??? Ewwww! We have +5!

"New" isn't always bad - maybe because new isn't tied to old ways... Good thing we have a God who knows the best :)

Dear Saija,
I expect something good coming out of all Leo's trials. God has promised to provide for us in all our needs.
I admit I often am seeing in a glass darkly...
Then again, Jesus is my only hope, and that's got to be sufficient.
Give Leo my best.

My best wishes to Leo as he settles in with another doctor. I'm glad the others have contributed to his overall care. Our best Physician knows exactly what is needed and in His time will meet all of your needs.

-20C?? And I thought -5C was bad here...my skin seems to get thinner every year..
Anyway God is in the details of Leo's care...of that I am certain...His fingerprint is clearly seen as you look back but is invisible in the now sometimes...be blessed..

I can completely understand how frustrating this is for you guys having to switch doctors so much!! I know each time it is just a pain BUT like you said maybe this is a good thing...each doctor comes with a different view point and maybe each one a little bit more help!! I am so happy that i have finally found a good primary doctor plus she goes to our church and is young!!
Take care and know that God is in this...

We've had weird winter weather here this year. It's been alternating between mild (low to mid 70s) and unusually cold (for us, anyway -- in the low 30s at night, which we usually don't see until February).

Best wishes to Leo as he sees another new doctor! It's good to look at the positive side -- I've been pretty happy with my rheumatologist, but I've been seeing him for almost six years now and I wonder if another doctor might see things that mine may be missing -- I get the feeling my doctor sometimes doesn't really listen to me because he just expects that I'll keep doing as well as I was doing for the first two or three years, which is unfortunately not true.
