summer summer summer

Then followed that beautiful season... Summer....
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

There shall be eternal summer in the grateful heart. ~Celia Thaxter

Wow, I can smell the scent of the peonies when I come here. It's wonderful! I guess the scent comes from memories from my childhood.

Beautiful peonies! Ours have been done for a while now, but I really enjoy them while they are around!

These have to be the most beautiful peonies ... and the scent must be heavenly. Hoping the one I planted last month will bring forth a bounty next year. Are you enjoying retirement?
