Squeaky's day ...

squeaks had a very exciting day today ...

he went for a ride with us, in his new cat carrier ... a ride all the way to the doctor's office!
there the nice lady doctor stuck a thermometer up his bum ...
shoved a pill down his throat ...
put greasy stuff on his head and behind his ears ...
lathered gooie liquid inside his ears, then swabbed it all out with very long Q-tips ...
then jabbed his butt with 2 long needles ...

we brought him home and he hasn't purred since!

i went to work for the afternoon and when i came home, he sat on my lap for 2 minutes, then went back to bed with a very disgusted look on his face!

i guess he's had better days?

Sometimes kittens have very tough days. Hopefully he doesn't get the shot trots, if you know what I mean.

He is just so adorable, that picture makes me wanna go scratch that spot right above his tail. The one that makes all kitties just a little nutso. :)

Beautiful picture, btw.

What a cute cat. Cats really do have a way of letting you know they aren't happy with you. I've been the recipient of that disgusted look from my cat a few times too!

j ... he's much better today - but we had to laugh at the poor guy yeserday - he was just so indigant with the whole trip, and just sulked around the house yesterday ... :o)

Susan ... that was my hope, to make you all smile ... *grin*

mari ... squeaks is cuddled with leo at the moment, and i think that after he got his ears cleaned out, he feels better ... we haven't told him about being neutered before Christmas - i think that might be another unhappy day for him!

Poor baby squeaks had a rough day! I doubt he felt very good yesterday. And he thought he was getting to go somewhere. :o)

It sounds like Squeaks had a day similar to mine! Poked and prodded all over the place.

Ooohhh, I do hope Squeaks is purring again. I guess he got a clean bill of health from the vet?

Funny thing about cats... They're not as quick to forgive as dogs are. When my "Kit" gets offended he can sit with his back to me for a very long time, and don't even call him ... He'll let you know when he's ready to like you again. :D

It's a good thing Squeaks doesn't know what's in store for him next. You and Leo would really be punished with severe indifference.

Ha Ha
sounds like squeaks is going to make you pay for what the doctor did to him...
of course he will eventually forgive and forget... just like we do for the ones we love...:-)

We took our Annie for the first time not long ago. She ignored me for a long time and would not let me pet her. It took time but she is happy once again with me!! They hate going!! PLUS they let you know it too. Your kitten is really growing up. Cutie\

I don't think I'd be purring after all that either!
