Looks cold!!! Just like Montreal today. It will be -17 tonight,so I'll flood the rink before going to bed. I'm sorry to hear that you don't have Squeaks anymore.:-( He is a sweet cat. Every time I see a silver tabby I think of you and Leo.
Saija: You will not like me when I tell you that here in Georgia we are in the mid 70's today!! This is our weather though that we look forward to all summer!! Boy it is cold there. I remember that kind of weather. You open the door and it just comes in like a cloud!! Sandy
lil mntrl grl ... it is "kulma", pronounced just like it's written -and please STAY WARM!!!! ... we miss squeaks, but i think he must be happier being with another cat and also being able to go outside ... he was a real sweetie.
mari ... that is cold too, especially if you have a bit of a breeze! i'm hoping for a warming trend ... one can always hope!
Sandy ... well be sure to send explicit directions to your place and that guest room ... :o) ... *chuckling* ... atleast we are living in town now, i used to feel very confined when it was cold and we were out in the country - it meant that if the car didn't go, neither did i! this way i lace up my boots and dress warmly!
Dear Saija... Oh well do I remember those cold days in my beloved Manitoba! That is the only thing that I don't miss about the prairies. But then again, I am always complaining about the Ontario winters too. Many a winter's day in Manitoba, we would get frost bitten noses and frozen fingers. Mom could not afford to keep her nine children in mittens so we used to have to wear old socks on our hands. We could never make a decent snow man either because the snow was always so dry and crisp! Besides have you ever tried to make a snow ball with socks on your hands?...Ha!
This is a really nice picture Saija but you really can't see the wind that is always blowing in Manitoba!

Oh, I shiver just reading that! It was in the high 60's or more here today. Thank the Lord I say.
