Christmas remnants

the amaryllis is still blooming ... a gift from an old neighbour ...
a tray of hot chocolate stands ready to be mixed and frothed ... a gift from my aunt ...

sweet remnants of the Christmas holidays linger on ...

the new year is just awakening ... ready to be explored ... are you ready for an adventure?!!

Be assured, if you walk with Him and
expect help from Him, He will never fail you. ~George Mueller

Give as freely as you have received! ~Jesus

That looks cozy!

I liked looking at the picture of you with your "little" brother. I have a younger brother, too, by just 14 months.

I always wanted to be petite and not the "Jolly Green Giant" but 5'8" was tall in the olden days when I was in high school.

Hugs, Sabine

Oh Saija...Will David ever love those quotes...One by his hero George M. and the other by the Lord Himself!!

I think those sacrfices to the Lord are easy when it involves temporal needs, but I always have a hard time giving the Lord the time for others that I SHOULD be giving!!
Hmmm...Maybe I will take my little mother to Wendy's tonight for her favorite...a baked potatoe with lots of butter!!!

Hello Sabine...you little darling!!.......

I am off to defrag my computer so I can get some speed back!!!...Love Terry

I would say that you better put the white miniature marshmallows on that cup of hot chocolate.
Mrs. Mac likes ANYTHING that looks like snow! hee..hee!!
Please Saija if you please can you pour me a large glass of lemonade!...no ICE..

terry ... i hope you enjoyed wendy's ... :o) ... don't you find that the older you get, the faster time flies? ... and a defrag sounds good ... i think i shall do that too ... thanks for the reminder!

jeanette ... we bought the pic back in the 70's and have always enjoyed the thought of a "banquet table" being prepared in heaven for us ... :o) ...

Yes Saija...My mother enjoyed her potatoe. We got there at nine o'clock right after the Bible meeting we went to.
My mom is a real night hawk. It was way past her bed time by the time I dropped her off at ten!!

I find that my disk needs a lot of cleaning and I have to defrag more often because of visiting blog sites. I guess it is because they are temporary files, eh?

Well happy defragging to you Saijs!! ...Love Terry
