a new thing ...

God promises to do a new thing ... and i believe Him ... oh yes, i believe Him ...

of course, the way of the world continues in sadness ... look at the assassination of mrs. bhutto today ... sadness and tragedy ... nervousness added to that already volitile area of the world ...

without Jesus - everything would be scary and tragic ...

with Jesus, we can lay our burdens and fears at His feet ... and He gives the weary pilgrim rest ...

may you be at rest in Him too ...

Yes Saija...That was so sad about that poor lady.
I was sitting with my mom in the hospital today while she was waiting for her cat scan and I saw it on the TV there.'
I was so surprised because they have tried other times and it just seemed that God was protecting her.
I sure hope that she knew Jesus as her Saviour. I sure do!!...Love Terry

I read someplace today that fear is the main emotion now that so many people in our country and elsewhere are feeling. Talk about things being out of control. What anyone does without the PRINCE of Peace, I have no idea!! HE is our ONLY place of refuge really!!

mimi ... amen, the older i get - the more "homesick" i become ...

terry ... mrs. bhutto was 54 years old ... in the prime of her political life ... as well as being a mom & wife ...

Deby ... Jesus is there for anyone who wants Him - isn't that a humble attitude for the God of the universe?

Elizabeth ... No Jesus, no peace - KNOW Jesus, KNOW peace!

Thank God we live in our country and not with all those terrorists over there. And it is wonderful Jesus is always with us. It definitely would be scary without Him. That is an encouraging verse - He is doing a new thing - at this time of the year especially.

Bhutto's assassination made me very sad, although it didn't surprise me. I knew she was in danger. She was a very brave woman. May she rest in peace.
