discharged today ...

my sister has progressed along really well ... i am sure your prayers have played a major roll in that! even the doctors have been "baffled" that she is still alive ... isn't that an odd way of saying it? but apparently, that is exactly the way one put it ... the others just use the word "amazing" alot!

she has knocked on death's door many times in recent years ... yet returns to the land of the living again and again ... God's purposes and times are a mystery to us ... that's for sure ...

unfortunately, she got discharged today from the cardiac care unit ... the ward beds were full, and she was "well enough" (relative term) to be released from the intensive care unit ... when i spoke with her, she confessed to being scared to go home - and her husband was scared to bring her home! i think this last bout really gave them both a major fright ... i pray this might be a time for them to grow in their faith ...

just wanted to update you all on maria's progress ...

blessings on ya!!!

So happy to hear she is doing better. Did she go straight from the intensive care to her home. Wow, seems like there should be a step in the middle.

What an answer to prayer! I can understand the apprehension about going home though.

Dear Saija,
so sorry, I have been wandering in the shadow land of flue, and was not aware of your sister's condition.
Now I'm better, been up 5 times today, and I will here and now pray for your sister, as well as for your self and Leo.
Hugs from Felisol

Hi Saija, I'm so thankful to hear the good news that the Lord has brought your sister back from the edge. Praise Him, praise Him! thats not good they are discharging her so soon...I agree with you. They do that around here also. Scary, really. May the Lord continue to keep his hand of healing and blessing on her. ~~~I'm dog-tired tonight. I spent the afternoon and part of the evening sewing. I finished two skirts and am pleased but tired out. Just had to come by and see how Maria was doing. I wanted to print off some material for S.Sch. in the morning. tomorrow's lesson is Jesus healing the leper. And how the men had to have faith for that to happen. A good thing to be reminded of isn't it. Hope you have a restful and blessed Sunday. Maybe tomorrow afternoon I will get caught up on my blog....maybe..lol.

Father,
Thank you for touching Saija's sister with a healing touch...please go before her at home, continue her healing grace and give her and her loved ones a peace that passes understanding...I beg your mercy on this family and pray that You will use this to advance Your kingdom. Be especially near to Saija, give her a sunbeam to lift her up and be warmed in Your Presence...surprise her with a personal touch of your love for her...In the Precious Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

Wonderful news...
I will continue to pray for both she and her husband as he takes her home...
God is definitely not through with her yet!!!

Praying they keep her there long enough for both of them to feel more at peace about bringing her home. It is the Lord who controls the very next beat of our heart or breath of air in our lungs. When we finally get to the point of resting in that...the battle is won.

Wonderful testimony Saija, such an encouragement to us who are struggling with physical problems or have loved ones who are ailing.

Maria 's great Physician is taking care of her. She is such a brave girl.

God's purposes are truly beyond our comprehension, but I'm thankful that we can know he really is control. Warm hugs to you!
